This is a very classy cue from Dave Kikel. The cue features 8 points of highly figured Sapelle into Gaboon Ebony. The long points have an Ivory spear and dot with a Sapelle wrapped Ivory spear atop the points. The short points have an Ivory diamond and a Sapelle wrapped dot atop the points. The butt sleeve has a series of Ivory spears, diamonds, and dots. The cue also features fancy ringwork with Ivory dots in all positions. The cue has a total of 92 Ivory inlays!!! Finish it off with a piloted Ivory joint and textured leather wrap and you have a wonderfully designed cue with a ton of work for the money.
“Modified Butterfly” is how Dave describes this cue. It is a very unique design that Dave has been working on for over a year. The 3 “Modified Butterfly” points are “re-cut” into each other to create a bold effect. The cue features Tulipwood, Ebony, and Holly in the “Modified Butterfly” points and inlays, and there are also 3 Ebony “shadow” points. This is truly a one-of-a-kind cue, and like all of Dave’s cues, a great value for the money.
